Getting ready for your newborn session can be stressful. I hope this guide will help alleviate some of that stress and help you enjoy your time with me to the fullest.

Congratulations to you! Thank you for allowing me the amazing and rewarding opportunity of photographing your new baby in his or her first few days of life.

I am truly honored to be able to capture this incredible time in your lives and look forward to getting to know you and your sweet baby.

WHAT TO EXPECT

I will have everything we need for your session including props, wraps, accessories etc.

WHAT TO BRING

Dress baby in a zip up sleeper in possible. You should try to feed baby right before your session, but still bring extra formula (unless breast feeding), diapers, and a pacifier (even if your baby doesn't usually take one) because sometimes it will help calm them for that second I need to get the shot.

Keeping the space quiet and calm really sets us up for a smoother session. We will do family/sibling poses (if included in the package you selected) at the beginning of your session. Then someone will need to pick up siblings, or dad can take them. But they cannot remain in the studio after the family/sibling portion is complete for safety and insurance purposes, as well as the fact that it helps keep the baby only portion quiet and calm.

Try not to stress out. Your baby can sense your emotions and we want to keep the baby and the environment as mellow as possible. Deluxe sessions can take a few hours, so please feel free to bring a drink/snack, whatever you need to be comfortable for that timeframe.

*Please feel free to bring sentimental items, a personalized blanket/hat, etc and I will be happy to try and work them in to your session.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to bring them to my attention.
